Terms & Conditions
We will travel to clients’ residences provided we secure a minimum booking of 4 faces. (NOTE: Special exceptions will be considered for smaller bookings on request and availability). Please enquire. This covers travel in the greater Durban area including up to La Mercy (North Coast), Amanzimtoti (South Coast) and Hillcrest (western limits of travel). Should travel be required beyond these areas, a fee of R4.50 per km is charged beyond the above-mentioned areas. For travel further than 200km we now offer a flat rate. Kindly note travel fee covers, fuel, travel-time and vehicle wear-and-tear.
- MAKEUP & HAIR TRIALS
It is advisable to book your trial 2/3 weeks prior to your wedding day. Trial bookings are available Mon – Fri between 8:30am – 4:30pm and are performed at our studios. (Note: should a trial be specifically requested on a Saturday, full bridal day hair and make-up rates will apply). Please let us know timely of specific requests or constraints in terms of your preferences.
This is your day and you deserve to shine and look flawless on your special day. For hair trials, please arrive with clean, dry hair.
- MEET & GREET
This offer is for clients who prefer to only meet to discuss their needs for their special day. Allow 30 minutes as a minimum – consultation costs are only R200; there-after proportional costs of R100/15mins are payable on the day of consult. During this meeting every detail of your wedding day preparations will be discussed and noted. Meet & Greet appointments can be made Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm at our studio.
- HOW TO BOOK
Step 1 – Fill in and return by hand or email the booking form attached to this document
Step 2 – Once your booking has been processed, you can expect an email from our studio, provisionally booking your wedding day.
Step 3 – Should you be happy to confirm the booking we require a deposit to be paid within 1 week and proof thereof to be sent through via email to email@example.com
Step 4 – Once we have received this proof, your booking is then 100% secured in our Bridal & Function Diary .
- JEWELLERY & HAIR ORNAMENTATION OR OTHER EQUIPMENT HIRE, DEPOSIT & RETURNS POLICY
- It must be noted that Hair and Beauty Package Prices do not cover the hiring cost of Standard and Exclusive jewellery and ornamentation.
- Returnable items incur a separate hiring cost (deposit) payable at confirmation of appointments.
- All items hired or loaned must be returned to The Studio @ No. 40 within 48hrs of the wedding or function. Thereafter daily costs of 10% value-of-item per day will be incurred, payable by the hirer on return.
- All lost and/or damaged items hired will be charged at full cost.
- HOW TO PAY
Step 1 – Deposit payment of 50% or as stipulated per package (above) is compulsory within 1 week of receiving our confirmation email; and send proof thereof to firstname.lastname@example.org
Step 2 – You will be issued a final invoice at your trial session, or emailed an invoice thereafter
Step 3 – Full payment must be paid one week prior to the wedding day
Step 4 – Please note only EFT and cash payments are accepted.
- HOW TO CANCEL
Please note that cancellations will only be accepted in writing, eg.via e-mail. This must be done no less than 60 days prior to the date of your wedding to ensure we can refund your deposit fee in full. Please note that should a trial booking not be honoured, the client will incur 50% of the deposit fee being charged. Changes to a trial need to be made telephonically no less than 24 hours prior to the original trial booking.
